Most of our work is done via a process called dye sublimation- this involves transferring dye from paper to the polyester substrate via heat. The dye sublimation print gives an incredibly vivid print that is literally locked into the material- a dye sub print can be washed in a washing machine and is more UV stable than conventional print. What this means is a print job that will not be spoiled before it gets to your event- and can be returned to pristine condition even after the mayhem that inevitably follows the end of an event.
Jay Jay Sports uses Mimaki JV 4 printers and state of the art Monti Antonio presses for our dye sublimation work. Our materials generally come in 1.5m wide, while the printers can print up to 160cm. Larger commissions are tiled – the biggest banner to date has been 40m x 6m. |
